“Have you ever attended a performance that was so good, when it was over the audience was completely silent? That’s the exact feeling we had when we saw it. The incredible painting by Sharon McCall. To say we were blown away by it is an understatement.

 

We contacted Sharon about creating a painting for us that would represent some of our favorite animals from our ranch, including a giraffe, zebra, and, of all things, a porcupine.

We were drawn to Sharon’s work because of her unique style and vibrant use of color. Her paintings are magical (who doesn’t love a zebra on a vibrantly colored couch and a giant praying mantis?), but her paintings are also very serious. The objects in her paintings are exact, like a photograph.

 

Having seen Sharon’s work, we knew it would be great, but this painting is exceptional! The detail and precision are superb. The zebra stripes, the shadowing, the porcupine- every quill on that porcupine is exquisite! The peacock is breathtaking. The texture, color, and the majestic feathers! The giraffes’ eyes are mesmerizing. The entire painting is magnificent!
